Merry Christmas from Moe & Co.!

Next year is going to be EXCITING in a way we’ve never known.  The Chinese calendar calls it the Year of the Moe, and with good reason.

It is my intention to power through 2012 with a new Moe comic strip, EVERY SINGLE DAY.  And even better than that, EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND, I am going to not put up any new comic strips.  This will be the most prominent of several site changes I’ll be rolling out in the next year, and shall announce some others in the near future.

This commitment hinges on my comic making being able to pay my bills, however.  So in the coming month(s), Moe will receive his first taste of merchandising.  If you are a fan and interested in supporting my full-time productivity, I hope you will consider sending me all sorts of money!

Keeping my weekends somewhat free is an attempt to deliberately schedule time for other comic and illustration projects.  I’m very interested in doing some longer form, much more impressively illustrated works that may even find their way onto printed pages.  Printed pages inside of a book!  A book you could open and read, or leave on the shelf and just look at admiringly!

Wow, very cool that there are still people interested in this strip!

As hinted before, I’ve been trying to figure out ways to change up the design of the site a little.  I’m not very good at that stuff so it’s been slow and with little to show for it.  In fact with nothing to show for it now that my primary hard drive is apparently dead!  This would also be the drive with all the artwork and Moe comics and programs used to make them.

Hopefully there is some positive development eventually!

I’ve been blessed with a great family, and in particular my father is a diehard fan of Moe.  My stepmom helps in his backroom sweatshop where they iron Moe pictures onto t-shirts for him to proudly wear around the solar system.  Here are some of the graphics I’ve provided him to assist with the illegal merchandising operation!
