Oh wait Chris basically said that already. BUT STILL OH MY GOD.
This challenges Shawn Handyside’s crown with Staccato for longest dead-but-not-dead comic. Which basically means we’ll get a couple now (maybe) then nothing until another spurt in two years.

If in one gust I remove the conflagration,
“Nimz Your comment is awaiting moderation.”

And all shall gaze upon
Proof of tradition, equipped with linked citation.
In limerick form,
Without the supporting links,
Here is what I said:
The traditional date,
Set in March, late,
Has been oft avowed
By the Moe crowd.
There is no 2008.
Links were to comments made regarding Admiral Firman’s birthday in 2012 (under Moe #426), 2011 (under Moe #359 – some digging required), 2010 (under Moe #336), and 2009 (under Moe #237). These supplement the 2013 comment link that did not get caught in moderation. The start of Moe on this site was about two weeks too late for any comments on the same date in 2008 to exist. Sadly I missed sending my birthday greetings to Admiral Firman on the right day this year. My only hope of recovery from that gaffe is that he May Four-give the oversight.
It occurs to me that, in our shared admiration for the Admiral, we’ve all come together and shared time with one another… but are we friends? I don’t know anything about any of you… Nimz, Haiku, Omi, Falos… who are you?
plz dun streotypes ogres are hv felings too but wre jus misundrstoods b/c peopl see our ogre fac n ar like (oh ur n ogre u mus not hav feelins) when we doo
I sadly must be one of the few who cannot make the raw fish and rice gathering as the US of A is much too far away for me to reach on my current budget. i’ll eat fish fingers and rish crackers to be with you guys in spirit
I’ll be in San Francisco from 24th to 27th. Anyone know an easy way to get from SF to LA and back? Is it too unreasonable to make a crazy trip to meet some other Moe fans?
For a scenic route,
The Pacific Coast Highway
Might be a good choice.
A quick look at California roadway maps indicate the 1 (PCH mentioned above) and the 101 both go through SF and LA. If you want to drive, that’s one possible route. Google maps seems to think taking the 580 (eastbound) to the 5 (which goes all the way to LA) is the best route. It’s “only” about 380 miles (about 6h in current traffic — of course “current” is 9pm in California). Depending on the car, you ought to be able to make it one way on a single tank of gas.
So the driving option round trip would be ~12h on the road and about $80 if you drive a car that gets relatively decent fuel economy. Crazy? Absolutely. Unreasonable? Your call.
Booking a flight (SFO — LAX / LAX — SFO) would probably cost about twice as much as driving, but a) faster transit (probably still faster with airport security factored in), b) you don’t have to worry as much about insane California drivers. I would suggest looking for what deals you can get on a flight — you might find something my surface-scratching didn’t.
You can try looking up bus/train routes, but I have no experience with California’s bus and train routes. It looks like the least expensive way to get from SF to LA and back, but I don’t know how close to schedule / how comfortable / etc. it would be.
Alas, such things are not in my agenda. I am a fervent East Coaster, and every time I’ve been in California I’ve felt myself wanting to explode. I know not why it brings me to such rage. Perhaps it’s the price of tobacco, or gasoline, or just being several thousand miles from where you belong.
But, to all the rest, enjoy! Hoist your raw fish and rice and look to the sea!
(Man, you guys are so much better at this rhyming thing than I am)
(Two hats off to you! One with both hands but each to its gentleman. I shan’t give up but damn if I’m going to be careful when I try)
…fer ser’isly though
I came for mo’ Moe
and got served out the do’h
Now I don’t even know

This Moe’cean City of which you speak? Would that be the New Jersey, Maryland, or some other vacant seaside trap to which tourists gather to singe beneath the fury and might of the merciless daystar?
Moe’cean City in NJ or in MD! They’re both about the same distance for me. I recently partook of the vitamin D from the merciless sunstar at one of those Moe’cean Cities ^_^
I love your blog.. very nice colors & theme. Did you make this website yourself or did you hire someone
to do it for you? Plz respond as I’m looking to design my own blog and would like to find out where u got this
from. many thanks
Alas, Convertible car seat, the best way to reach our Admiral Firman is to write your questions neatly upon a piece of fine vellum, roll it up tightly into a wine bottle, seal tightly with a cork and wax and toss it into the nearest sea.
One simply keeps faith in the sea to return missives to the proper shore. The sea cannot be faulted that the land brooks no faith with it. Simply walk the shore.
When Moe decided to dabble
In a friendly game of Scrabble,
He saw nothing wrong, though he
Played the word BONGOY, [*]
“Let it slide—it’s a good bit of babble!”
[*] Pronounce that BON-GO-Y, not BON-GOY, of course.
I kept to my word however, whilst nimz may have missed the moe-con I stayed true to my promise and ate fish sticks and rish crackers. that garish huge ad space does seem like it could be filled with some tribute to lord firman. perhaps a fan inspired portrait of his admiral-ness looking righteously radical or some such business. as a gift to let the admiral know these will always be safe harbours for him
And thus, be they nickels Canadian or ‘Murican, our plan is afoot! We shall either fund the Admiral with nickels, or fish scales, or we shall merrily botch the shot and land the mass of coin near his ship. If the latter, here’s hoping that it causes a swell that brings him to port awhile.
A change in format:
It doesn’t start that way, but
I will try to rap
It occurred to me just now
how
word games in the comments of the comic of
word games like Scrabble being played
by Moe
can be displayed to show
a self-referential flow.
Meta, you could say.
Betta’ check today –
gotta see, will there be
a new Moe, four-fifty-two.
A new Bo, your super IQ.
And Jetpack Hunk,
that sixpack hunk,
does he even have a bunk?
Or will the cannon become canon,
spewing nickels spelled with an N,
bring our admiral, true and fair,
bring him with the charts from where
his travels went, to share?
And there
we prepare
to show
we care.
How strange, indeed
that a community’s seed
Can vanish while the plant survives
What lives we lead
Where the things we need
Don’t exist, but we still manage to thrive?
avast, I had noticed comments were slow coming and could not think of something to write, but at the mere suggestion that it is time to let go I shall turn to someone who said it much better than I ever could:
WE SHALL NOT
WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED
WEEEEEE SHALL NOT
WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED
WEEEEEE SHALLLLL NOT
WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED
WE SHALL NOT BE MOVEEEED
Deer Moe,
It’s good to see you bonding with an actual human being over a friendly game. Please remember that you have a brother that really really loves you, even when you’re being a (in the words of his language) a poo. Spending time with other human beings can be a good thing, but your family is really important. I think that Bo is all you have left of family now that your parents and uncle are out of the picture. Make the time to be happy with him or there may come a time when you will gret it. And then you’ll gret it again and again and again. And that would be tragic.
Love,
Buck
I found this letter
In a wooded area
With raw fish and rice.
No no no, it’s just mostly dead. There’s a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead means it’s still a little bit alive!
Anyway, I present to you A Day in the Life of Moseph Pontoon Dope
I read the news today, oh boy
About a Moe P. Dope who stayed in bed.
And though the news was rather sad,
Well I just had to laugh —
The pitted avocado half…
It tasted so very nice
With raw fish and rice.
A crowd of people gabbed and stared
They’d seen the Admiral’s work before –
Nobody was really sure if Eliot could get Moe out of bed.
At last a Scrabble game ensued.
And at the set of letters that Moe used,
A crowd of people turned away,
But I just had to look, having read the B O N G O Y.
Okay, maybe I should stay away from filking for now, and get to what that was all a setup for: Bidet (B-Day) in the Life of Moseph Pontoon Dope
“What kind of present is a second sink in the lavatory?”
I don’t have anything (yet) for C Day in the Life of Moseph Pontoon Dope. <_<
I always enjoy checking back in every day to see if something new and juicy has been added to the comments, unfortunately I often lack inspiration to comment but feeling that there is a looming collapse of community here I am going to throw this out there.
what is your favourite local place to indulge in the ultimate of treats: Raw fish and rice?
my favourite place locally would probably be my local sushi train, it’s not actually that good but it’s the only halfway decent place in my area sadly.
What absurd occurrence it is that we only seek to rebuild our sense of community, when we feel it collapsing.
I feel only able to sympathise with Omi, as a fellow Australian (in Canberra) I must force my feelings of togetherness on what you call Thanksgiving. But isn’t any gathering of weird companions deserving of thanks?
Thank you my strangers
For enriching all our lives
In a stranger way
Canadian Thanksgiving, wherein they give thanks for being Canadian? I can get behind that. Even if they serve mouse stuffed with poutine and Labatt Blue on the side, I could still get behind that.
I think I’d leave the mouse to the cats. Moose, on the other hand… or even mousse… * contemplates mousse stuffed with poutine *
‘Twas a month before Christmas, and Moe had his kiwi juice.
Not a delicacy was stirring, not even a poutine-stuffed mousse.
The raw fish and rice were set up at the firmanproductions website
In hopes that the Admiral would bring a new Moe strip to light.
The commenters used prose and they used haiku
And other forms of writing and poetry, too.
The hunk with his jetpack and beautiful chin angle
Set up a tree and made it to spangle.
Thanksgiving has passed us
The gathering broken
There’s little else left we can say.
At this point I reckon
That we should all check on
The holidays coming out way.
For those who have come here from PS and like HS: There are a few commenters who liken themselves to characters. However a few are kind of obscure.
Regardless the conversations are cool.
People please check out my series of comments starting on 399 Aptronym.
They are a spoof of the Courtroom scenes and include a variety of characters including the Officers.
Moe fans, I’m sad to notify you that Doramjan, Ryan Durham, passed away suddenly in May 2015. We were engaged in early January 2015. He and I met right after his trip to New Orleans in 2014 and I fell in love with everything about him. I missed him a lot tonight and luckily found this site with so many of his comments. It made me smile and remember all the good times! Thank you for that. You may join us in mourning him on Facebook. Search for “Remembering and Honoring Ryan Durham,” a page, and “Remembering Ryan Durham,” a group on Facebook. He is missed by so many!
“doramjan” came from how the Armenian people he served while a missionary pronounced his last name, “Doram,” and the word “dear,” “darling,” or “honey.” I’m guessing that’s what they called him. His ex-wife is Armenian.
“Rumours of my demise are greatly exggerated.” –Civilisation
Pretty confident that was the original source of that quote. Then Samuel Cle`Moe’ns stole it and attributed it to Mark Twain. Also, apparently it was British (or maybe Canadian) before being misappr`Moe’priated. Would be no surprise if Canadia was the place of residence for Civilisation. After all, that’s where the greatest member of the Admirablety hails from.
By the way, if no one else has noticed, there is one moe comic that…doesn’t exist. This means that there are actually 450 comics on all of moe. Not that important, just a little interesting.
Mercury poisoning
…Yup, besides the nutritional deficits thats it.
Also, a fun very very old 2008 comic which is still running. A good stop gap solution while waiting for the next phase of ‘Moe’nolouges.
Odd socks and even,
Blue socks and red,
Socks for a-weavin’
’til you are dead,
Socks full of holes
And socks full of coals,
Socks full of everything except little moles.
Socks made of tile,
Socks in the file,
Socks made to scrabble for miles upon miles.
Socks all alike in one common way:
The socks smell like Moe on every other day!
Wait…what?
I’m sorry, i fail to understand what context this falls under. I’m just confused. Even with Falos’s comment being counted I don’t quite get what is the point…
Also, happy presidents day and happy Cat Day or Nyan nyan NYAN day in Japan. Courtesy of Ponos.
Another steganography thing I can show:
How do you default open in a new window?
The answer to that, we may thank
The existence of “target=_blank”.
This is where you put that meme thing: The More You Know.
My last few posts have tried to resemble haikus more closely than 17 random syllables. The theme is more likely to be about nature or the seasons or weather than about scrabble.
But they still have to be Moe ofc, and I like to contrast pensive musings with an “lolmoe.”
My true love sent nothing on the second day of Idesmas. That puts an… oh wait. What’s this? Looks like it’s a note from my true love that says:
“The stream of delay
Kept me at bay for a day.
Please press PLAY button.”
On the second day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
On the fifth day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me Five mini pies,
Four rules for chess,
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
On the sixth day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me Six cat name choices,
Five mini pies,
Four rules for chess,
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
On the seventh day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me Seven roads in Catan,
Six cat name choices,
Five mini pies,
Four rules for chess,
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
On the eighth day of Idesmas, my true love noticed `eighthly’ is a weird word, having five consonants in a row, and then sent to me Eight party ushankas,
Seven roads in Catan,
Six cat name choices,
Five mini pies,
Four rules for chess,
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
On the ninth day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me Nine squirrels a-flying,
Eight party ushankas,
Seven roads in Catan,
Five mini pies,
Four rules for chess,
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
On the tenth day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me Ten cheesecakes baking,*
Nine squirrels a-flying,
Eight party ushankas,
Seven roads in Catan,
Six cat name choices,
Five mini pies,
Four rules for chess,
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
*Cheesecake quantity determined by artistic license. If someone else has an idea for a better Ten-Of-Something to highlight from the Moe archive, feel free to suggest a replacement.
On the eleventh day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me Eleven Toothaboothas,
Ten cheesecakes baking,
Nine squirrels a-flying,
Eight party ushankas,
Seven roads in Catan,
Six cat name choices,
Five mini pies,*
Four rules for chess,
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree!
*Have the best pi day, everyone! Seems I missed the 1:59 posting time, though.
On the twelfth day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me Twelve bricks a-bricking,
Eleven Toothaboothas,
Ten cheesecakes baking,
Nine squirrels a-flying,
Eight party ushankas,
Seven roads in Catan,
Six cat name choices,
Five mini pies,
Four rules for chess,
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
AND A BONGOY IN A SCRABBLE TREE!
Congrats: You have endured a year’s worth of comments and over an elections worth of time.
Now pat yourselves on the back and consider also getting another comic. How about helvetica, that’s only over 6 months in limbo.
“Fools!” said I, “You do not know,
“Silence like a mountain grow.”
Which is to say, slowly, and through plate tectonics and all that jazz. And sometimes volcanos. Yeah. Volcanos of silence. Totally legit.
Summer backyard fun
Fish-like swimming to keep cool
Is Moe still indoors?
You know, looking at the communities around most webcomics, whether they be made up of 5 people or 500,000 are usually quite nice. And the ones where the people who read them make their own comics…well, that’s beautfiul. And I can’t help but feel that one day, the artists will die.
The day that Munroe, or Hussie, or Morrison, or Gigi, or Griffiths, Buckley, or Cagle, or Tiedrich or Siddell or any others die, the internet will be riddled with a thousand epitaphs to seemingly unforgettable people.
Someday, long after that, no one will remember them at all or their work.
But they’ll remember those inspired by it.
‘Twas the night before Christ`Moe’s and all through the site,
Brown pixels were glowing, emitting their light;
The Scrabble tiles were placed on the board with care,
In hopes that the Admiral soon would be there;
Jetpack Hunk tucked Bo snugly in bed,
While visions of raw fish and rice danced through their heads;
And Moeseph fresh-squeezed a kiwi for juice,
Perhaps to offer for a day-long truce;
When out by the kitchen arose a sound so absurd,
Like a thousand bouquets battling over a single dead bird.
I rushed to the kitchen to deal with the squatters,
When I noticed the Admiral in Canadian waters!
Cement-bag-head-man was there, manning the helm,
I knew I had entered a magical realm.
Just like that came the end of my story;
This must be what it’s like in Nethergatory.
I think I could do a poetry report on you guys. Just mounds and mounds of haiku. If any of you are published poets…
I mean, you could try it. Seems like at least some of you have a knack for it.
A belated happy fake birthday (March 29), Admiral! o7
Or is it an early happy real birthday? (May 4)
Definitely a somewhere inbetween birthdays day, so maybe I’m right on time for landing in the midst of a month-long birthday party!
Anyone even know that Firman is still alive?
Anyways, I agree that you guys should try being published poems. Just publish your less Moe-centric stuff.
Wait, who is keeping this site running?
It’s been without ads for years and without overwhelming traffic for more. Is it paid for by some eccentric sysadmin?
May the Fourth be with Moe:
Whether launched into Nethergatory,
Or stuck loitering in Scrabble Limbo,
Or speaking things derogatory
About your little bro.
Your life is an epic story
Like that of a galaxy far away, long ago!
While this might be out of the loop…I, a random drifter have just come across this site and found this person called Nimz who I am honestly surprised at for sticking through this for so long. Hats off to you, Nimz! I am dreadfully sorry for the passing years ago but I am glad that this site still exists to show and hold many memories for many people and maybe act as a remembrance for the times of the past for the new people like myself.

Today is a good day.
February 24th, 2014 at 8:20 pm
My only lament
Is that I didn’t post first…
But new Moe! Hooray!
Firman understands
The plight of the stupid ones
Playing tricky games
February 24th, 2014 at 10:18 pm
Moe is a linguist!
Unfortunately, cognates
From Baby are rare.
February 25th, 2014 at 12:04 am

February 25th, 2014 at 8:02 am
Yay new Moe! <3
February 25th, 2014 at 11:51 am
Has Elliot aged a bit since we last saw him? I think I see some gray about his temples …
THANK YOU SO MUCH, FIRMAN! Our wait has not been in vain!
February 25th, 2014 at 12:46 pm
Hey, we spoke the same language back in the day!
February 25th, 2014 at 2:46 pm
This is really great!
Thanks for putting this up, mate.
Moe never gets old.
February 25th, 2014 at 3:07 pm
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. This makes me happy.
February 25th, 2014 at 8:45 pm
Jetpack Hunk, meanwhile,
Is playing `Bo’ggle with Bo.
Both skip “bongoy”.
February 25th, 2014 at 9:07 pm
I don’t know the rules
Of Boggle, which is OK
Because I can’t spell

Oh yeah. Spring Break. It’s this week.
Or…am I…ignored?
March 5th, 2014 at 8:52 pm
In Australia
We don’t have spring break at all
It’s shitty Autumn
March 5th, 2014 at 8:54 pm
What is the new goal
For this to-be well of posts?
One Thousand again?
March 6th, 2014 at 3:05 am
we must strive for higher and higher goals. push it to the limit. on a highway to the danger zone. like lets aim for 1575 to start with. just a suggestion

I wonder if Moe still likes ethnic cuisine from his first language — like strained peas or sweet potato puree

Bongoy – a French Yiddish word which means literally “good gentile.”
March 22nd, 2014 at 5:39 am
Moe’s true heritage?
Not that it even matters,
I think it’s over…
Has everyone resigned from their positions as Firman’s fan club?
March 22nd, 2014 at 10:15 am
Is that what this is?
I guess they’re Firman tribute.
The poems, I mean.
I come once a week.
I only poem so fast.
Maybe there’s new Moe.
March 23rd, 2014 at 3:31 am
If played off of Y,
Moe should be able to use
BONY or GOONY.
March 23rd, 2014 at 7:22 am
Goony? I don’t know…
The singular of Goonies?
Moe the son of Sloth?
March 24th, 2014 at 12:54 am
Goony – like a goon?
Or perhaps part of a phrase…
Goony birds are real.
March 28th, 2014 at 6:09 am
It’s happened you guys
Fans have deserted this place
A great derelict
Now we must decide
Do we continue the tale?
Or retire it here?

Every year, there are hundreds of people have birthdays. But today is special, because it is for a special person, someone who is one in the hundreds.
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL FIRMAN! I hope it rocks out for you!

Great glory and salutations!

March 29th, 2014 at 5:51 am
A Happy Birthday
Is sure to come to Firman
With all our support
So… I don’t know what we do now…
Why Haiku? Why is the human condition so spiteful…
March 30th, 2014 at 5:39 pm
You made him a page?
You are much too kind, Keta.
gratz2u, Firman.
March 31st, 2014 at 12:32 am
Falos, that webpage
Has been around for some time.
It’s traditional.
That said, I do hope
Firman had an excellent
Day of birthdayness.

The traditional date,
Set in March, late,
Has been oft avowed
By the Moe crowd.
There is no 2008.

If in one gust I remove the conflagration,
“Nimz Your comment is awaiting moderation.”
Will disappear anon,
And all shall gaze upon
Proof of tradition, equipped with linked citation.

I wouldn’t know
Where to go
To know what Nimz is talking about…
But I’d rather still be
Right here to see
Firman’s next comic come out
March 31st, 2014 at 8:37 pm

A couple days passed
Without any form of poem
So here’s a haiku
April 11th, 2014 at 8:38 am
It occurs to me that, in our shared admiration for the Admiral, we’ve all come together and shared time with one another… but are we friends? I don’t know anything about any of you… Nimz, Haiku, Omi, Falos… who are you?
April 11th, 2014 at 12:56 pm
Are we similar?
Bonded by common language?
Maybe that’s just “poo”.
April 11th, 2014 at 1:37 pm
Poo poo poo poo poo:
Poo poo poo poo poo poo poo,
Poo poo poo poo poo.
There is deep meaning
In the previous haiku:
Poo punctuation.

May 9th, 2014 at 12:42 pm
This is vaguely oriental!

Starcraft
MMORPGs

Martial arts
Paper lanterns
Fortune cookies

May 11th, 2014 at 11:09 pm
That Raw Fish and Rice place does sound vaguely oriental… in the vaguest sense, anyone live in Beverly Hills?
May 12th, 2014 at 11:06 am
In the vaguest sense, I had family who lived there but no longer. I still have family that live -near- there, but not forever.

Does he eat raw fish?

In LA from 21st July -> 27th, Raw Fish and Rice day is when?
June 10th, 2014 at 9:10 am
I’ll be in San Francisco from 24th to 27th. Anyone know an easy way to get from SF to LA and back? Is it too unreasonable to make a crazy trip to meet some other Moe fans?
June 11th, 2014 at 12:24 am
June 11th, 2014 at 3:35 pm

June 16th, 2014 at 1:43 am

(In a more western prose)
That the 23rd be the date
For Moecon’s first fate
Before the time slot is closed
June 16th, 2014 at 11:01 am
The date is perfect
But. I live in Texas. Dang.
Next year, in L A?
June 16th, 2014 at 2:01 pm
Alas, such things are not in my agenda. I am a fervent East Coaster, and every time I’ve been in California I’ve felt myself wanting to explode. I know not why it brings me to such rage. Perhaps it’s the price of tobacco, or gasoline, or just being several thousand miles from where you belong.
But, to all the rest, enjoy! Hoist your raw fish and rice and look to the sea!
June 16th, 2014 at 3:38 pm
Fren, I too am an east coaster (mid-Atlantic). Let us organize a MoeConEast — in Moe’cean City!

Alas, Convertible car seat, the best way to reach our Admiral Firman is to write your questions neatly upon a piece of fine vellum, roll it up tightly into a wine bottle, seal tightly with a cork and wax and toss it into the nearest sea.
July 23rd, 2014 at 10:16 am
Or email. Email works for me 😉
July 23rd, 2014 at 2:08 pm
Email and bottled vellum are equally effective in teaching the Admiral, but it’s hard to attach a return address to a bottle
July 27th, 2014 at 11:55 am
One simply keeps faith in the sea to return missives to the proper shore. The sea cannot be faulted that the land brooks no faith with it. Simply walk the shore.

August 13th, 2014 at 8:20 am

September 17th, 2014 at 6:21 am
A change in format:
It doesn’t start that way, but
I will try to rap
It occurred to me just now
how
word games in the comments of the comic of
word games like Scrabble being played
by Moe
can be displayed to show
a self-referential flow.
Meta, you could say.
Betta’ check today –
gotta see, will there be
a new Moe, four-fifty-two.
A new Bo, your super IQ.
And Jetpack Hunk,
that sixpack hunk,
does he even have a bunk?
Or will the cannon become canon,
spewing nickels spelled with an N,
bring our admiral, true and fair,
bring him with the charts from where
his travels went, to share?
And there
we prepare
to show
we care.
September 21st, 2014 at 10:59 pm
Dearest Eliot,
Please forgive Moe’s playing in
Baby gibberish.
Sincerely,
Raw Fish and Rice, Intl.

Comment two hundred
Is quickly approaching us
Who will take the prize?
September 22nd, 2014 at 10:56 am
The prize is not mine to take, nor to give. I merely add to the pile.
September 22nd, 2014 at 2:22 pm
I hereby will take
Commend one hundred nine eight.
Two Hundred cometh!
September 22nd, 2014 at 7:16 pm
It’s probably Nimz
With some long-ass bit of text
In some stranger form
Or maybe it’s me
Posting again after this
Like a real big jerk
Or perhaps It’s Fren
Or even that Doramjan
Those big fat liars!
Omi or Haiku?
What have those guys been up to?
Plotting, probably
Also Palindr’moe’
Might say something funny next
To steal two hundred
September 26th, 2014 at 1:08 pm
I’ll be over there. They’re playing Pictionary. Scrabble just got old.
September 29th, 2014 at 9:12 am
Not with a bang, but a whimper. Well, gentlemen … to the next level!
October 3rd, 2014 at 2:17 am
The sky’s the limit. We can write until time ends. Or when Moe updates?
October 4th, 2014 at 6:22 am
Autumn, two weeks in.
Spring, in the far Southern realms.
Moe, still in season.
October 7th, 2014 at 4:13 pm

A tall ad shows up.

Slow commenting week.
Writer’s block in the comments?
We need a tetris!
October 21st, 2014 at 8:05 am
Perhaps we have to accept
That this phase, at which he was adept
Is now over in the admiral’s life
And stop putting ourselves through such strife
October 21st, 2014 at 7:20 pm
To accept thus is to abandon the spirit of our motley community. To break faith is to nullify all we are.
October 22nd, 2014 at 7:17 am
How strange, indeed
that a community’s seed
Can vanish while the plant survives
What lives we lead
Where the things we need
Don’t exist, but we still manage to thrive?
October 23rd, 2014 at 9:14 am
avast, I had noticed comments were slow coming and could not think of something to write, but at the mere suggestion that it is time to let go I shall turn to someone who said it much better than I ever could:
WE SHALL NOT
WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED
WEEEEEE SHALL NOT
WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED
WEEEEEE SHALLLLL NOT
WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED
WE SHALL NOT BE MOVEEEED
October 28th, 2014 at 2:34 pm
Speak for yourself, but
Don’t let the world deceive you,
I shall not be ‘Moe’ved

Deer Moe,
It’s good to see you bonding with an actual human being over a friendly game.
November 17th, 2014 at 1:48 pm
For this Thanksgiving
I will serve a Moe themed treat:
some raw fish and rice
November 25th, 2014 at 10:30 am
Is the art of conversation dead?
November 25th, 2014 at 2:16 pm
November 26th, 2014 at 7:51 am
I always enjoy checking back in every day to see if something new and juicy has been added to the comments, unfortunately I often lack inspiration to comment but feeling that there is a looming collapse of community here I am going to throw this out there.
what is your favourite local place to indulge in the ultimate of treats: Raw fish and rice?
my favourite place locally would probably be my local sushi train, it’s not actually that good but it’s the only halfway decent place in my area sadly.
November 26th, 2014 at 7:52 am
that is in Newcastle Australia by the way, forgot to say what city, in case people dig travelling no idea about the name of the joint tho,
November 27th, 2014 at 12:41 am
Alas, dear Omi,
It has been many years since
I last ate that treat.
As a grad student,
It is my obligation
To starve for knowledge.
November 27th, 2014 at 1:18 pm
Happy Moe’sgiving, my Friends.
Sorry I’ve been gone so long.
Not a Haiku.
November 28th, 2014 at 12:15 am
Ugh, the turkey, it is too much for me, it even consumed my pre-dinner drunken tomfoolery. Curse you, fewds! Curse your delicious ways!
November 29th, 2014 at 3:00 am
We gather again. We cherish these companions. It’s all thanks to Moe.
November 29th, 2014 at 10:26 pm
What absurd occurrence it is that we only seek to rebuild our sense of community, when we feel it collapsing.
I feel only able to sympathise with Omi, as a fellow Australian (in Canberra) I must force my feelings of togetherness on what you call Thanksgiving. But isn’t any gathering of weird companions deserving of thanks?
Thank you my strangers
For enriching all our lives
In a stranger way
November 30th, 2014 at 2:50 am
Forget not, Doctor:
Canadian Thanksgiving
Is in October.
And remember well,
Our beloved Admiral
Is Canadian.
December 1st, 2014 at 11:18 am
Canadian Thanksgiving, wherein they give thanks for being Canadian? I can get behind that. Even if they serve mouse stuffed with poutine and Labatt Blue on the side, I could still get behind that.
December 1st, 2014 at 3:16 pm
To be continued???
December 4th, 2014 at 7:02 pm
If you tried to play “spangle” in scrabble, I would probably challenge it
Like what does that even mean?
December 5th, 2014 at 6:06 am
By wikitionary,
It’s ornamental metal,
Or a small sparkly.
December 5th, 2014 at 1:22 pm
Such a gaffe, of course I intended for moose, I know not how that U snuck in. Canada is far too wealthy a nation to serve mouse!
December 8th, 2014 at 3:57 am
Thanksgiving has passed us
The gathering broken
There’s little else left we can say.
At this point I reckon
That we should all check on
The holidays coming out way.
December 9th, 2014 at 2:48 am
Christmas poetry:
Not forthcoming. There is no
To be continued.
At least, not for The Night Before Christ`Moe’s. At least, not by my hand anytime soon.
Moe, playing Scrabble,
Stuck in moments eternal,
Makes baby babble.
December 16th, 2014 at 8:45 am
Here’s some Christmas trivia to stir up conversation…
The word Avocado comes from the Aztec word for testicle…
Play that in your next scrabble game, despite it not being even remotely offensive
No poetry today

An old revenant
Is back from digital hell
But is the fan club?
June 4th, 2016 at 9:39 pm
The comments return,
From whence, aye, I do not know;
The fans will come home.
June 8th, 2016 at 1:01 pm
why do i always get dragged into a new comic, it happens like every two days!
June 10th, 2016 at 11:03 pm
“New” is the wrong word
Perhaps “arcane” is better
But it’s pretty sweet
June 20th, 2016 at 1:33 pm
Cheers! Glorious day!
Faithfulness is rewarded.
Can’t ever stop the Moe.
June 24th, 2016 at 2:13 am
Four days here and gone
My friends, come back to the Moe.
His whiteness returns.
June 24th, 2016 at 7:40 am
Tick tock tick tock tick
Time crawls but Moe remains still
Struggling at scrabble
June 29th, 2016 at 2:42 pm

Words with Friends is the new game.
Poor Moe. No friends here.

Problem Sleuth’s fandom come here
cause homestuck just ended.
July 16th, 2016 at 10:30 pm
^TakeaNap this is true.
However.
Moe may be dead or alive.
Also, why is it 10 CENTS for an ad?
Really. Moe needs ‘moe’ ‘moe’ny.
July 16th, 2016 at 10:31 pm
For those who have come here from PS and like HS: There are a few commenters who liken themselves to characters. However a few are kind of obscure.
Regardless the conversations are cool.
July 16th, 2016 at 10:42 pm
Sniff.
No ‘Moe’ Moe?
July 17th, 2016 at 2:43 am

Our wacky wacko circus

Maternal support

Hey Dr. Morgan somethingerother
does that mean we are going to get a Moe update (preferably regular ones and a little less cubist) soon?

Expectation is
The enemy of desire.
Enjoy what exists.
Ask not for more Moe
Live for the Moe that lives now

Cubism is cool

Cluttering the grid
With lines of bongo-like words,
Scrabble piece clatter.
A near-weekly dose
Of limited form writing
That keeps the mind sharp.
Kumquats: a bingo!
But raw fish and rice still wins:
TRIPLE HAIKU SCORE!!!

Leaves a note in the scrabble,
Says, “Bongoy was here.”

August 19th, 2016 at 11:07 pm
“doramjan” came from how the Armenian people he served while a missionary pronounced his last name, “Doram,” and the word “dear,” “darling,” or “honey.” I’m guessing that’s what they called him. His ex-wife is Armenian.
August 20th, 2016 at 6:16 am
My condolences
In the artform of this land:
Haiku for Ryan.
As tribute to Durham,
Let’s prepare some raw fish and
Armenian rice.
Doramjan: a friend,
And fiance apparent,
Too soon left this earth.
Thank you for your words,
Dear Doramjan’s fiancee.
It’s sad, but thank you.
August 20th, 2016 at 9:42 am
The haikus of past
Were of an upbeat nature
This is different
To be included
As a relic of Ryan’s
Is of importance
We are all mournful
Thank you for celebrating
Life through poetry
August 20th, 2016 at 7:13 pm
I have not the words
Sorrow so great, my heart bursts.
God speed, my Moe-friend.
August 23rd, 2016 at 11:27 pm

Death, isolation, lost love
At least we have this

Oh…. We are here. But not all.
I miss doramjan.

A month of silence
For dear Doramjan concludes.
Bridal shower time???
I wrote a book thing.
Five-seven-five formatted
Dedication page.
Because of the book
I can now be Dr. Nimz,
Ph.D. in Maths.
Clearly the format
Of the dedication page
Was necessary.
Had Moe Dope not been,
I would not have made that thing.
So thank you, Firman.

Tomorrow I think
My write-in candidate is
Moeseph Pontoon Dope.
“President Moeseph”
Is more appealing to me
Than those other two.
Sure, he has problems.
But with Bo as running-mate,
We would fund NASA.
Also, consider,
Moe still has an opening
For spouse: First Lady.
Criminal record?
Prosecution rhetoric
Distorted the case.
In sum, vote for Moe.
Vote him to every office.
The `Moe’ligarchy!

November 17th, 2016 at 11:23 pm
Welp, civilization was nice while it lasted
November 19th, 2016 at 12:05 am
“Rumours of my demise are greatly exggerated.” –Civilisation
Pretty confident that was the original source of that quote. Then Samuel Cle`Moe’ns stole it and attributed it to Mark Twain. Also, apparently it was British (or maybe Canadian) before being misappr`Moe’priated. Would be no surprise if Canadia was the place of residence for Civilisation. After all, that’s where the greatest member of the Admirablety hails from.
November 23rd, 2016 at 5:40 am
Now as some haiku –
Civilisation: not dead.
Just a jump-scare, yo.
Changes happen, true,
Even quotes we thought were said
By some other schmoe.
On the sea of blue
With a banner white and red,
Admiral Hero.
November 23rd, 2016 at 6:06 am
Not sure what went wrong.
A, href, equals, then link.
End with a slash, a.
I should also note
After link: title equals
the hidden stanza.

Don’t forget to close!
This is quickly devolving.
I should stop for now.

Very proud of us!
US Election?

Doesn’t affect me!
Li’l ol’ me, to here,
doesn’t visit near enough.
I feel bad for it.
Still got no clue how:
Hyperlinking those goddamn
Surreptitious words!
November 28th, 2016 at 7:27 am
The tricental note
Used to explain making links
With extra word bits:
Less than a and space
Href equals quote link quote
Space title equals
Quote title text quote
Greater than visible text
Less than forward slash
A, greater than. End.
These steps outline the process
In verbal format.
Translated (and hopefully correctly escaped…) in a less 575 format:
<a href=”link” title=”title text”>visible text</a>
Quotes inside title
Is a whole nother wax ball
Done in a cute way:
Still title equals,
But now use apostrophes
Instead of quote marks.
You want both quote marks
AND apostrophes in there?
Escape sequences.

By the way, if no one else has noticed, there is one moe comic that…doesn’t exist. This means that there are actually 450 comics on all of moe. Not that important, just a little interesting.

A time when we must decide
What goes in the box.
“Put the bunny back…
In the box” or keep it out?
Rolling Stones or rocks?
How openable?
No lid worth mentioning, or
Solid metal locks?
On this Boxing Day,
Get your raw fish and rice fresh:
Eat them at the docks.

Bongoy New Year, all!
Drumming in A New Moe Hope:
Happy Bongo-y!
January 9th, 2017 at 5:46 pm
Years in the future….
….Minus several
January 15th, 2017 at 1:20 am
I’ve been far away,
In Tasmania, in fact!
Very Bongoy-ey
January 15th, 2017 at 1:22 am
Important life news!
Yesterday: first time making
raw fish and rice; yum!
January 15th, 2017 at 3:22 am
Congratulations!
You’re a more fulfilled person,
DrMorganski!
January 15th, 2017 at 10:17 pm
Now, a dilemma
So cheap and easy to make
Why anything else?
January 16th, 2017 at 11:55 pm
Mercury poisoning
…Yup, besides the nutritional deficits thats it.
Also, a fun very very old 2008 comic which is still running. A good stop gap solution while waiting for the next phase of ‘Moe’nolouges.
January 16th, 2017 at 11:56 pm
Sahsimi IS awesome though. Try tataki tuna (toast seasame seeds until very light golden-brownish and then roll the tuna in them.)
January 18th, 2017 at 4:35 am
Fukushima fish—
Do the fish still count as raw
Radioactive?
January 20th, 2017 at 8:09 pm
Creatures from below
Appear pointlessly scary
Let’s just eat land meat
January 23rd, 2017 at 6:33 am
Without the raw fish,
What catchphrase could supercede?
Goat cheese and dates, say?
January 24th, 2017 at 9:00 pm
Snowfalls on still fields
Pale horizons forever
Moe’s walking shirtless
January 25th, 2017 at 5:31 am
Too ‘Moe’ny links. Heh.
To moderation dungeon
For my last comment.
I could punch a car,
As Moe says in 1-2-5,
And not even care.
The shirtless state here —
In terms of merch to appear —
Forever, I fear.
January 28th, 2017 at 8:57 pm
I would totally
Wear beautiful ‘Moe’chandise;
Cover my torso
February 4th, 2017 at 8:00 pm
Damn February
Devoid of comments and such
Slightly more boring
February 21st, 2017 at 12:00 am
A spring breeze floats by
Local fragrances and scents
Moe smells like a sock
February 21st, 2017 at 10:47 pm
Boo.
February 22nd, 2017 at 4:05 am
Odd socks and even,
Blue socks and red,
Socks for a-weavin’
’til you are dead,
Socks full of holes
And socks full of coals,
Socks full of everything except little moles.
Socks made of tile,
Socks in the file,
Socks made to scrabble for miles upon miles.
Socks all alike in one common way:
The socks smell like Moe on every other day!
February 22nd, 2017 at 9:34 pm
Wait…what?
I’m sorry, i fail to understand what context this falls under. I’m just confused. Even with Falos’s comment being counted I don’t quite get what is the point…
Also, happy presidents day and happy Cat Day or Nyan nyan NYAN day in Japan. Courtesy of Ponos.
February 22nd, 2017 at 10:26 pm
Inspiration struck.
You can’t just ignore that guy,
But where are my shoes?
You found one context
In the comment of Falos.
There’s also Scrabble.
When the socks don’t smell,
They self-arrange to letters:
They spell out BONGOY.
February 25th, 2017 at 1:18 am
My socks, old and stiff
Can’t bend so well for letters
Only spell: I I
Not even Scrabble
With baby gibberish rules
Would accept that word.
(Really hoping hard
That I didn’t screw up that
steganography)
February 25th, 2017 at 1:19 am
Damnit I messed up
Oh well screw it, you get it
Too damn hard for me.
February 25th, 2017 at 5:40 am
“I I,” said the pic.
The socks were strangely silent…
Mostly from fatigue.
February 25th, 2017 at 5:56 am
Another steganography thing I can show:
How do you default open in a new window?
The answer to that, we may thank
The existence of “target=_blank”.
This is where you put that meme thing: The More You Know.
February 25th, 2017 at 5:59 am
Self-demonstration?
Failure. Blank target got got.
Not sure what went wrong.
February 25th, 2017 at 11:47 pm
My vindication
appears in the difficult
nature of that trick
Not the only one
Who makes steganographic
mistakes. Don’t feel bad.
February 27th, 2017 at 6:53 am
In that aftermath,
I can admit that I am
`Bo’mused, not `Moe’ping.
March 3rd, 2017 at 2:38 am
Beware the Bongoys!
They come on the Ides of `Moe’rch!
… And all other days.
March 3rd, 2017 at 6:31 am
The ides of this month
Not for another twelve days.
Assassinate soon.
March 4th, 2017 at 6:07 am
On the first day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me
A Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
March 4th, 2017 at 2:20 pm
My last few posts have tried to resemble haikus more closely than 17 random syllables. The theme is more likely to be about nature or the seasons or weather than about scrabble.
But they still have to be Moe ofc, and I like to contrast pensive musings with an “lolmoe.”
March 6th, 2017 at 7:18 am
My true love sent nothing on the second day of Idesmas. That puts an… oh wait. What’s this? Looks like it’s a note from my true love that says:
“The stream of delay
Kept me at bay for a day.
Please press PLAY button.”
On the second day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
March 6th, 2017 at 6:15 pm
Oh my god, it’s over, there are no more comics.
March 6th, 2017 at 6:28 pm
On the third day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
March 7th, 2017 at 2:15 pm
On the fourth day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me
Four rules for chess
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
March 8th, 2017 at 4:23 am
On the fifth day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me
Five mini pies,
Four rules for chess,
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
March 9th, 2017 at 9:05 am
On the sixth day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me
Six cat name choices,
Five mini pies,
Four rules for chess,
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
March 10th, 2017 at 4:20 am
On the seventh day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me
Seven roads in Catan,
Six cat name choices,
Five mini pies,
Four rules for chess,
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
March 11th, 2017 at 4:40 am
On the eighth day of Idesmas, my true love noticed `eighthly’ is a weird word, having five consonants in a row, and then sent to me
Eight party ushankas,
Seven roads in Catan,
Six cat name choices,
Five mini pies,
Four rules for chess,
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
March 12th, 2017 at 2:52 am
On the ninth day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me
Nine squirrels a-flying,
Eight party ushankas,
Seven roads in Catan,
Five mini pies,
Four rules for chess,
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
March 13th, 2017 at 6:12 am
Um… looks like nine is missing a six.
On the tenth day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me
Ten cheesecakes baking,*
Nine squirrels a-flying,
Eight party ushankas,
Seven roads in Catan,
Six cat name choices,
Five mini pies,
Four rules for chess,
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree.
*Cheesecake quantity determined by artistic license. If someone else has an idea for a better Ten-Of-Something to highlight from the Moe archive, feel free to suggest a replacement.
March 14th, 2017 at 2:27 am
On the eleventh day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me
Eleven Toothaboothas,
Ten cheesecakes baking,
Nine squirrels a-flying,
Eight party ushankas,
Seven roads in Catan,
Six cat name choices,
Five mini pies,*
Four rules for chess,
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
And a Bongoy in a scrabble tree!
*Have the best pi day, everyone! Seems I missed the 1:59 posting time, though.
March 15th, 2017 at 12:59 am
On the twelfth day of Idesmas, my true love sent to me
Twelve bricks a-bricking,
Eleven Toothaboothas,
Ten cheesecakes baking,
Nine squirrels a-flying,
Eight party ushankas,
Seven roads in Catan,
Six cat name choices,
Five mini pies,
Four rules for chess,
Three fresh bouquets,
Two crooked cops
AND A BONGOY IN A SCRABBLE TREE!

Beautiful poem
Ends in violent regicide
Not that surprising
March 17th, 2017 at 1:45 pm
If I was better
At foreshadowing, I’d use
This crooked cop page.
March 18th, 2017 at 10:10 pm
Congrats: You have endured a year’s worth of comments and over an elections worth of time.
Now pat yourselves on the back and consider also getting another comic. How about helvetica, that’s only over 6 months in limbo.

A falling red leaf
Belongs only in Autumn
As we belong here
March 20th, 2017 at 6:58 am
Vernal equinox
Another Spring has arrived
Moe remains unclothed
Southern Autumn starts
An equinox for harvest
Bipolar planet
March 31st, 2017 at 1:23 am
Alas, I forgot
In the midst of much grading
Firman’s (Fake) Birthday.
The proper (fake) date
For the (real) celebration
Was ereyesterday.

Death is important
New life is born of decay
Moe’s laundry is rank
April 9th, 2017 at 3:44 am
Incoming Easter!
“That was unoriginal.”
— Extremely late fool.
April 11th, 2017 at 9:19 pm
Spring is ablossom
The land giveth her bounty
“Pie trees” aren’t real, Moe
April 12th, 2017 at 1:34 am
Strawberries ripen
Romantic flavours of Spring
Ruin kiwi juice
April 16th, 2017 at 5:17 am
Chill shadows lengthen
Moe must surely be dead now
Someone pays hosting
April 17th, 2017 at 5:58 am
A soft wind whispers
Gently caresses the trees
“Moe already died.”
April 25th, 2017 at 1:11 am
But he got better!
In our hearts we know the truth:
Moe is Still Alive!
April 29th, 2017 at 8:15 am
Nimz, alone, a rock
Stalwart against the waning
Haiku stream pressure
April 30th, 2017 at 10:06 am

Windows made by dying leaves
It’s Aussie Autumn
May 1st, 2017 at 5:25 am

The stream goes where it will go
To oceans of Moe.

Dropping from trees like comments
Vanish from this page
May 16th, 2017 at 6:37 pm
Waves rise, crest, and break
The sea echoes and moans
Moe’s tummy rumbles
May 19th, 2017 at 9:43 am
A wild storm oozes
Rain, darkness, gloomy sadness.
Mimics Moe’s love life.
May 22nd, 2017 at 5:49 pm
I May Four-get to say things on the right day sometimes, but at the very least, happy birthmonth, Admiral Firman!
Anniversary,
Albeit a tad late, of
Escape from the womb.
May 25th, 2017 at 9:20 pm
Tree’s age-telling rings,
recount past seasons and years.
Moe is Firman’s rings.
Happy birthmonth!

Those cosmic cobwebs,
Like so many dirt layers,
Display time’s passage.
June 1st, 2017 at 7:44 pm
A Moe dream I had:
Firman gave us an update.
I forgot the joke.
June 2nd, 2017 at 4:16 am

Creeping in, like from the void.
Moe-based prophecy.
June 25th, 2017 at 6:31 pm
*My present namesake walks into a room*
Hm?
Did they leave?
Ah well. Gives more time to finish my last wishes.

June 28th, 2017 at 2:11 am
A mountain, silent
Needs not remind the people
That it is present
June 28th, 2017 at 12:49 pm
“Fools!” said I, “You do not know,
“Silence like a mountain grow.”
Which is to say, slowly, and through plate tectonics and all that jazz. And sometimes volcanos. Yeah. Volcanos of silence. Totally legit.
Summer backyard fun
Fish-like swimming to keep cool
Is Moe still indoors?
August 3rd, 2017 at 9:08 pm
In Canada now!
Is the admiral still here?
It is quite nice, though.
August 10th, 2017 at 1:52 am
I left Canada.
Ate Ontario poutine.
Fun while it lasted.

At least for August.

Three years of comments
Conversations in Haiku
I so love humans.
September 4th, 2017 at 6:07 am

In icy, icy igloos,
Justly judge jujus.
And in other news,

What the fuck is “pumpkin” spice
Turns out it’s not real
October 4th, 2017 at 1:15 am
But if you believe…
Really truly believe it……
It’s still just made up.
October 4th, 2017 at 9:27 pm
This spicy pumpkin:
Does it matter if it’s real?
It makes dorks happy.
October 6th, 2017 at 12:31 am
Does this mean that spice –
Pumpkin spice, specifically –
Could be called fake news?
October 6th, 2017 at 8:16 am
“News”: a dismal word
describing shitty events
about dead people.
News is about death
Shootings, disappearances.
Never pumpkin spice.
Sugar, spice, things nice.
Not doled out by school shooters;
not quite newsworthy.
Moe, haven of good:
A suitable home for these
pumpkin spice juices?

Yes, hello. How much info
Does ‘bongoy’ contain?
The flow of time here

Summertime sunshine,
but wintertime emotions.
Seasonal discord!

Somewhere out at sea
An Admiral makes for shore:
An uncharted land.
No Wifi here, no
Sounds of strange creatures abound
Do they eat humans?
Thankfully it’s “No.”
But Potato People? “Yes.”
Hope they don’t find Moe.
He has been through worse…
Stomach gone, rode in a hearse…
This is the last verse.
December 22nd, 2017 at 6:57 pm
Christmas approaches,
The scamper of cockroaches
Is heard all around.
Stocking stuffing time:
What lies in store for Moe Dope?
Kiwi Slushie? Yum.
December 23rd, 2017 at 6:42 am
Kiwi nog: A thing?
Replace egg with kiwi, right?
Keep the rum handy…
… But out of Bo’s reach.
He can have the cheese ring pies
And Mensa Santa.
December 24th, 2017 at 7:23 am
good golly gosh, i don’t know what prompted me to return to check on old moe, but it is a trip down memory lane to see some of these names.
December 25th, 2017 at 7:50 am

‘Moe’rry Christmas, all!
December 26th, 2017 at 3:16 am
A ‘Moe’rry Christmas,

And similarly,
there’s never reason needed

January 13th, 2018 at 12:47 am
Yes, we celebrate
meaningless number milestones.
But just not that one.
January 19th, 2018 at 9:45 pm
Moe, beautiful Moe.
No matter the real seasons.
You are always spring.
Exquisite feelings.
Like a cherry blossom tree,
In a field of shit.
January 21st, 2018 at 4:25 am
Like a kiwi skin,
Brownish warm fuzzy feelings
Can be found with Moe.
The inner kiwi,
Like Moe toward Jetpack Hunk,
Is green with envy.

Time passes, while pens,
Beforetimes waxing with love,
February, silent.

“It’s a short month anyway,”
Just like this verse.
March 2nd, 2018 at 4:02 pm

Leaves changing, dying
Death is death, but there’s a way
to die slightly less.
A contribution,
cash in some gratitude for
something left behind.
In memory of
Ryan Durham, Doramjan.
He’s not forgotten.
Concise poetry
exercises the mind’s eye.
And is permanent.
April 20th, 2018 at 8:28 pm

Firman’s legacy;
Our faith still shines ever on
Moe is life and love!
December 24th, 2018 at 7:46 pm
‘Twas the night before Christ`Moe’s and all through the site,
Brown pixels were glowing, emitting their light;
The Scrabble tiles were placed on the board with care,
In hopes that the Admiral soon would be there;
Jetpack Hunk tucked Bo snugly in bed,
While visions of raw fish and rice danced through their heads;
And Moeseph fresh-squeezed a kiwi for juice,
Perhaps to offer for a day-long truce;
Just like that came the end of my story;
This must be what it’s like in Nethergatory.

I think I could do a poetry report on you guys. Just mounds and mounds of haiku. If any of you are published poets…
I mean, you could try it. Seems like at least some of you have a knack for it.
April 9th, 2019 at 12:44 am
A belated happy fake birthday (March 29), Admiral! o7
Or is it an early happy real birthday? (May 4)
Definitely a somewhere inbetween birthdays day, so maybe I’m right on time for landing in the midst of a month-long birthday party!
May 4th, 2019 at 5:20 am
Admiral Firman,
May this annual fourth day
Bring you happiness!
Thanks for all the Moes,
And the rappers and Bose head–
Phones and the best pies!
May 10th, 2019 at 11:08 am
Anyone even know that Firman is still alive?
Anyways, I agree that you guys should try being published poems. Just publish your less Moe-centric stuff.

Is there such a thing
As non-Moe-centric haiku?
Unfathomable!

A minor flurry,
Words in silence supplicate
For raw fish and rice.
Frozen in winter,
No spring thaw to start new streams,
Moe still plays Scrabble.

Moe, frozen in time:
Ancient web browsers access –
Still render the site.
March 19th, 2020 at 5:15 pm
Moe walks on the scene
From a site of mud and dust.
Merriment ensues.
Confusing odors
Displease Eliot and co,
Lost in Moe B.O.

Day seven in verse…
If Moe gets taken by hearse,
Should he see a nurse?
March 21st, 2020 at 9:17 am
I guess it is Spring
In the northern latitudes.
Moe plays the long game.
March 22nd, 2020 at 5:46 am
Moe, with second tongue,
Licks up the competition.
First tongue stays in mouth.
I’m not sure how long
My daily posts will stay strong
Without going wrong.
March 23rd, 2020 at 3:54 pm
Plip-plopping drizzle,
Pattering percussively:
Do drowsy Dopes drool?
March 24th, 2020 at 8:33 pm
A date approaches –
One of great celebration.
Under a week ’til.
March 29th, 2020 at 3:21 am
(End dramatic pause)
Happy birthday Admiral!
(Yes, I know it’s fake)

A day more surreal –
For one commenter, at least.
Mission successful.

all things are passing
and to help you as they do
moe is an island
June 17th, 2020 at 1:51 am
Winter of the soul
Winter in the solid world
Winter stings like death
Summer here for Moe
Indian summer, endless
Summer in my heart

Welcome, Menaki
This is Firman Productions
Please…post all the time.

“All the time”, he says
But really once in a while
Is good enough here
The moon has zipped by
And uncountable amount
Since last I haiku’d
Life changes like leaves
I too have changed my colours
I escaped a vice
July 17th, 2020 at 5:43 pm
immutable slopes
great heights towering over
(moe, not a mountain)
September 3rd, 2020 at 6:28 am
Shimmering water
Reflects vague bits of beauty
Excludes ugliness
September 6th, 2020 at 3:46 am
Upon closer look,
Ugliness is excluded.
I misread “exudes”.
The words, as misread,
Form images of toilets
And dogs who drink there.
September 7th, 2020 at 11:07 am
“Exuding uglies”
May be an innuendo
For something secret.
Gardens of pure peace
Can never accommodate
Such crude imagery.
September 8th, 2020 at 7:01 pm
Petrified comics:
Ugly gives way to beauty
In a rock garden.
On meditation,
Scrabble letters are like rocks
Strewn about the board.

A salutation,
Then some boring middle parts,
Then valediction.
December 22nd, 2020 at 1:10 am
Another solstice:
A year coming to an end.
Bongos still abound.
January 16th, 2021 at 5:13 pm
the world keeps spinning
the planet will still be here
