    Ninety degree lines
Make for a face equal parts
    Cubist and handsome.

  2. Carp
    April 30th, 2012 at 1:35 am

    Four panels, two jokes;
    Perfect writing, perfect pace –
    Comic mastery.

    Horrid house-guests lay
    Beyond the confines of warmth;
    Screw you, dirty rug!

  4. Haiku
    April 30th, 2012 at 2:26 am

    Carp – a haiku fish
    His manner slick and fluid.
    No wet grip is he.

    April 30th, 2012 at 2:32 am

    Aquatic lifeforms
    Must have an innate talent
    Carp’s haiku; brilliant

    Moe, humble yet proud
    Able to accede a point
    And shun smug carpets

  6. Dent
    April 30th, 2012 at 2:34 am

    Handsomely chinned man,
    Does not understand custom!
    Likely, foreigner.

  7. Carp
    April 30th, 2012 at 3:00 am

    Steep steps of haikus
    Of purity, of glory,
    Adorn our page scrolls.

    It’s time to perform,
    My haiku instinct hums away…!
    Let’s write some poems.

    Listen up hunk. I
don’t know what your angle is
    but you’re not welcome

    Johnny Bravo hair
    Swaying gently while in flight
    Jetpacks are way rad

    Always wearing shades
    Even when he goes indoors
    Jetpack goes PSHOOOO

  12. Dent
    May 2nd, 2012 at 12:39 pm

    I’ve learned a new thing;
    PSHOOOO has two syllables.
    My childhood was wrong.

  13. Carp
    May 2nd, 2012 at 2:19 pm

    Long waits for updates
    While Firman makes TCAF arts,
    But I’m in no rush.

  14. Falos
    May 2nd, 2012 at 3:53 pm

    I thought for a while
And was sure after I saw
    There’s two in PSHOOOOES

    Furry comic ads
    Spoiling the goodness of Moe?
    Inconceivable!

  16. Haiku
    May 4th, 2012 at 2:26 am

    When the Admiral
is absent we must post more.
Carp, help me – great fish.

  17. Fren
    May 4th, 2012 at 7:49 am

A mountain of posts shall we
amass for one such as he
For unto the Admiral we owe
    our platitutes and gratitudes
And with our pile, we show.

Friends, a poet I am not.

  18. Carp
    May 4th, 2012 at 10:41 am

    Posting ’bout poems
    ‘Bout comics, hilarious!
    I’ll help you, Haiku.

  19. Haiku
    May 4th, 2012 at 11:48 am

    Fren and Crap are here.
    Effort, not rhyme or meter
    is what is needed.

  20. Haiku
    May 4th, 2012 at 11:49 am

    We will lay haiku
Like great statues at his feet.
    The Admiral knows.

  21. Haiku
    May 4th, 2012 at 11:50 am

    Autographs he wants.
What treasures will he find there?
    Signatures of greats.

  22. Haiku
    May 4th, 2012 at 11:51 am

    But it is Firman
    Whose signature we want here.
    Our Admiral-Hero.

  23. Officer Mallay
    May 4th, 2012 at 12:10 pm

    “Fren and Crap are here”?
Not a nice way to refer
    To the gentle fish.

  24. Officer Mallay
    May 4th, 2012 at 12:11 pm

    Crap happens, I guess.
    Crap may appear even in
    The oddest places.

  25. Firman
    May 4th, 2012 at 1:08 pm

Friends thanks for the standby, you’re each a faithful warrior
You may be sorry Moe’s missing, but I am even sorrier
Today is my birthday! The Festival is imminent
Can’t wait to meet all the dope men’n’women who went.
That last rhyme needs slurring to make the syllables fit
It’s silly but will do as filler ’til I build a new strip
Stick by me my homies, the site needs you present!
Unpleasant the week may be, Moe will soon again be incessant

  26. Officer Mallay
    May 4th, 2012 at 1:29 pm

    Wow, that’s quite a feat.
    Find a rhyme for “imminent”!
    On his birthday, too.

  27. Officer Mallay
    May 4th, 2012 at 1:33 pm

    Your faithful are here.
    Happy birthday, Admiral!
    We’ll sing you odes now.

  28. Doramjan
    May 4th, 2012 at 3:44 pm

Wha? Your birthday is Star Wars day? Congrats and happy birthday!

  29. Carp
    May 4th, 2012 at 11:34 pm

    Firman, be ready!
    Tomorrow we will meet up
    At the great TCAF!

  30. Carp
    May 4th, 2012 at 11:34 pm

    “Carp” can be tricky;
    Simply transpose two letters,
    And bam! I am poo.

  31. Carp
    May 4th, 2012 at 11:38 pm

    Comments stacking up;
    Memories of older times stroll
    Leisurely through me;

    When updates were scarce
    The post count skyrocketed!
    Let’s bask in the now.

  32. Haiku
    May 5th, 2012 at 1:29 am

    But let now pass on.
Later has come after, but wait
    Thirty-two begins.

  33. Doramjan
    May 5th, 2012 at 10:15 am

    And now thirty-three
But can we break one hundred?
    Has never happened…

  34. Officer Mallay
    May 5th, 2012 at 12:43 pm

    A hundred haikus?
Five hundred, seven … oh dang.
    Lots of syllables.

  35. Haiku
    May 5th, 2012 at 1:10 pm

    Our will is strong here.
Unlike Moe, much like Bo, we
    We will succeed here.

  36. Haiku
    May 5th, 2012 at 1:12 pm

    One hundred is big.
    Or is it long? Relative.
    Heroes do care not.

  37. Haiku
    May 5th, 2012 at 2:04 pm

    One more for the road.
    To work, weary traveler.
    Keep Moe, in absence.

  38. Haiku
    May 5th, 2012 at 2:06 pm

    (One last, well deserved)
(Carp, so sorry for faux pas)
    (Apologies, please)

  39. Carp
    May 5th, 2012 at 4:53 pm

    I went to TCAF
And I met Mr. Firman –
    My dreams are achieved.

  40. Carp
    May 5th, 2012 at 4:57 pm

    Haiku, no worries!
I’m pretty sure I have made
    the same mistake, too!

  41. Firman
    May 5th, 2012 at 8:33 pm

I apologize for not being very exciting!
I was a bit overwhelmed while there. Way too many, way too many fly artists all over TCAF. I think I should try to table next year!
It was great getting to meet you Carp and I was happy to have a fan around.

  42. Sir Guy
    May 5th, 2012 at 8:49 pm

    Updates, optional;
    But I check back nonetheless
    Silence is golden

    Lethargic comments
    Exist here? Not at all!
    Only haikus, yep.

  43. Carp
    May 6th, 2012 at 1:20 am

(Breaking from haikus for a sec here to properly respond to Firman)

Yeah! It was great seeing you, too. TCAF brings out some ridiculously talented artists, one of the many reasons I’m glad to live in this city. Maybe I’ll see you Sunday as well? I ended up buying so much Topatoco stuff that it was seriously weighing me down, so yeah, I’ll be browsing TCAF tomorrow, as well. If you won’t be there, I’ll see you next year, hopefully!

(And now I’ll return to my regularly-scheduled haikuing)

  44. Haiku
    May 6th, 2012 at 2:21 pm

    (also breaking from Haiku)

That’s awesome. I do not live in Canada but if our Admiral took the time and effort to get a table (which would potentially mean “merch” for us) there’s a definite road trip waiting to happen. Not to break the fourth wall or to invade privacy too much but, Carp, how majestic was Admiral Firman? Meaning, could you look directly at him or was his brilliance to bright? Does he walk on the ground like the rest of us or does he flow through the air like a master at sea? So many questions, so few haikus.

  45. Haiku
    May 6th, 2012 at 5:54 pm

    Another day stop.
    Telegraph themed haiku stop.
    Moe tomorrow stop?

  46. Carp
    May 6th, 2012 at 10:36 pm

I think we were both kind of distracted by the massive crowd gathering swarming around the Nedroid/Three Word Phrase/Wondermark trifecta in that corner of the room, not to mention the Topatoco cash register line directly beside all these people. Needless to say, as soon as we tried to exchange more words than the basic pleasantries, we were whisked away by tidal waves of fans crashing around us, resulting in a near-total loss of consciousness and displacement which made conversation nigh impossible.

Seriously though, it was PACKED this year. Thank god they gave Hussie his own time period for signing, otherwise the room would’ve been completely overrun by the Homestuck fans.

  47. Carp
    May 6th, 2012 at 10:37 pm

    Anyways:

    Didn’t see Firman
    On the second TCAF day;
    I can’t have it all.

  48. Firman
    May 7th, 2012 at 12:40 am

Moe to resume “Moe”nday but potentially late timing, as I am exhausted! And then I will make up for the missed Moe strips. And eventually identify some exciting new projects! TCAF got me motivated and I definitely feel like I could table next year, I just need to get a lot of work done!

  49. Carp
    May 7th, 2012 at 1:01 am

    Good luck to you,
    Persevere and keep it up!
    See you next TCAF!

  50. Officer Mallay
    May 7th, 2012 at 6:44 am

    Next Moe this Moenday
Means we won’t reach one hundred,
    But fifty is nice.

  51. Fren
    May 7th, 2012 at 7:45 am

    And comments shall there be
    For thee, Firman, for thee.

A shame that I cannot make these festivals, it would have been lovely to salute the Admiral and present him with a tricorn hat befitting of his rank on the Goodship Webcomick. Perhaps we’ll have to form our own little group. Maybe we can be the Swabbies?

  52. Haiku
    May 7th, 2012 at 11:07 am

    Fifty, we made it!
Joy in my poet’s heart full.
    Now to laurels rest.

  53. Fren
    May 7th, 2012 at 2:17 pm

Hark, just over the next whitecap lies 60!

  54. Doramjan
    May 7th, 2012 at 3:56 pm

    I’ll bump up the count
    Predictably, a haiku
    But it’s not Shakespeare

  55. Doramjan
    May 7th, 2012 at 3:59 pm

Maybe we should switch to limericks instead of haikus?

There once was a man with a jetpack
Whose chin not an angle did lack.
    But his new brother Bo,
    Angered old brother Moe
And the welcome mat is out back.

  56. Wtfguys
    October 12th, 2012 at 4:19 am

Why are you writing in haikus? You all look stupid.
