This actually happened to my Catan group once. Of course, after the game was flipped the next ten minutes were spent placing each piece exactly as it was before. Some board game players have great memories.
I did play Settlers of Catan but only once. It was great fun, though I’m sure I lost. Nothing was flipped.
I’ve since forgotten how the game even works, which is why I inadvertently might have drawn Moe’s pieces in a well-off placement. The blue bits didn’t show up as well over the board’s image, but it’s at least inferable from the followup that Eliot is absolutely gameshaming Mr. Dope.
Wow. There was a Sollux on here?
Let’s see…
Sollux, Vriska, Kanaya, and Tavros.
and i saw someone post under “Cal” using the uu thing.
that means 5+ HS characters. Wow.
It is a well known fact that Catdam table and chairs are made out of Moebius wood, which is what a Mobius House is made out of, which is borderline impossible to flip. It is easy to move as long as one does not flip and refrain from making hideously blatant pop culture references.

Moe can’t be doing that bad. That road is what, seven units long?

I sense that this comic was inspired by real-life events…

Thanks. Making him saying “Bloody” means I’m now reading his lines in a gruff cockney accent.

So who is going to get Moe some barbells?
January 24th, 2012 at 2:23 pm
So I’m guessing that
The red stuff on the table
Is blood? That’s morbid…

This is my attempt to summarize the comic in Haiku form:
RRRRRR, can’t flip table
*pant pant* Man, I’m tired! *pant pant*
RRRRR, can’t flip the chair

Most times, “Fuck this shit”
But some of the time, “Fuck your shit”
…Just flip ALL the things!

Man I hope that “gameshame” catches on as a verb, and everyone remembers that I coined it.
January 24th, 2012 at 11:16 pm
Imma gameshame your face.
January 25th, 2012 at 1:27 am
I’m going to proceed to gameshame your mainframe. All night if possible.
