This is not the first time the system has failed to get the right guy!

Priceless facial expression in panel 8…
I’ll use that face more often. <3

I punched a dude in the face about two months ago in school. After being suspended two weeks, they had a meeting and asked me the very same question. I answered honestly: no. They kicked me out. I’m still school-less.

    Oh well.

If you punch Cementbag Head in the face, you WILL feel remorse, because you will break your friggin hand on the cement.

Is Mr. Cementbag going to kill Moe now or will he forgive him?

I saw what you did with the backgrounds there, Firman! You cannot hide your secrets from me.

@Kitchensink - I had a similar problem very often, they would always bag me on stuff they knew they couldn’t get me in trouble for like self defense, and would ask me if I had ‘remorse’, and if I answered no they’d say “The problem isn’t that he hit him, it’s that he didn’t feel bad about it after”. Why the hell would I feel bad about punching a dude in the face when he just kicked me? :|

Panel 8 is awesome, party time.

Sara, I actually recycled the panel borders as well - don’t tell anyone though!

    @Sutokito:

It’s the same expression in the Cheerio Moustache comic! I love that one so much.

Clever background! (I’ll have to remember that method.)

I need to remember some of these tricks….

I realy liked the strip’s Aesthetics, the weird dirty look make it entertraining to just look at it, adding an extra layer of fun beyond the writing , something that is, in most strips, neglected like an orphan child during christmas eve being taunted by the colourfull wonders on the toy stores window. I guess we got a little bit sidetracked over here.

I like to think the second guy in panel 8 fell from the ceiling with the balloons. Which is why he is so surprised sand elated at the same time.

You zip all your Data Files to recycle your Volume too, don’t you, Firman?

Give it a couple thousand more comics, and I think that Moe will deserve a movie.

    @Maxam

More like make a couple thousand more movies and they’ll deserve Moe.

I’d see “Moe: the ‘Moe’tion picture.”

Whuh-oh, pun-dips and lobbymuckers. O: There be satire afoot.

    “Moe Animated” would be fun.
But we need awesome Voice Actors.
    Any suggestions?

  22. Firman
    April 18th, 2009 at 12:54 pm

    George Clooney.

He’s probably busy though, what a jerk.

  23. Marty McFly
    April 18th, 2009 at 2:15 pm

The system of justice works perfectly in Moe’s universe. I like those guys.

    April 19th, 2009 at 12:16 am

They guy’s face in Panel 8 reminds me of the guy with the Cheerio Mustache!
Cementhead could be played by Keanu Reeves! And Johnny Depp would play the part of Uncle.

@ Firman: Isn’t that this douche who’s cribbing Moe’s style?
@ Ziggy Stardust: Ziggy, we’re talkin’ ’bout Animated. Just voices. Plus, do you play guitar?

  26. Ziggy Stardust
    April 19th, 2009 at 3:20 pm

Jamming good with weird and gilly, and the Spiders from Mars?
No, I play cello mostly. I can drum a little, and I’m working on keyboards.

  27. Jack
    April 20th, 2009 at 8:29 am

I play guitar, drum a small little, bass a little and I am working on piano as well.

Haha, it totally is the same expression as the Cheerios comic, that’s classic!

Has anyone else noticed that the guy in panel 8 is blowing the *insert whatever those cheery things are really called here* with his nose? Pretty crazy if I do say so myself…

^ He’s using his mouth. That other line is his chin.

This comic was probably the loudest out loud laugh I’ve ever laughed out loud. The timing, the art, the facial expression in that fucking last panel destroyed me.
