Steve, `GROSS’ IS painted on the wall. While Moe was preparing the meal, some unobserved bystander with ninja-like skills anticipated Moe and Bo’s reaction. Being a conscientious tagger, the bystander just as quickly washed the paint off.

At first, when I read this strip, I thought that ‘Gross’ was PAINTED on the wall.
